Emulsifiers are commonly used in skincare to blend ingredients like oil and water, creating a smooth, uniform texture. However, many emulsifiers double as surfactants—acting like soap on your skin. While this might sound harmless, surfactants can strip away your skin’s natural oils, leading to irritation & redness, dryness & flakiness and imbalance skin microbiome.

This was their biggest challenge with the formulation, and it’s perfect!

THE COLOUR

Malachite is one of the ingredients in the Gel-Cream. Malachite extract, derived from the green copper carbonate hydroxide mineral, as a cosmetic ingredient, primarily for its antioxidant and detoxifying properties. It’s often included in products to protect the skin from environmental damage and to potentially boost collagen and elastin production. The Rescue + Repair Gel-Cream contains no artificial colourants.

This Gel-Cream is ideal for all skin types, especially sensitive skins with impaired barrier function.

After aesthetic treatments – Helps by moisturizing, soothing, and supporting the skin’s natural healing process. It helps to restore the skin’s protective barrier, which can be disrupted by the peel, and reduces dryness, redness, and irritation.

Dry, flaky skins – Helps dry skin by restoring and strengthening the skin’s natural protective barrier, preventing moisture loss, and providing hydration. For added moisture, blend with the Rescue + Repair Omega Tissue Oil.

Mature, dry skins – Boosts natural collagen production, deeply hydrating, and strengthening the skin’s barrier to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and dryness. The peptides, beta glucan and hyaluronic acid help to restore the skin’s suppleness and improve overall texture.

HOW TO USE

First spray your favourite Soopa Skin HOCl Rescue Mist on a clean skin and allow to dry. Apply 3-4 pumps of the Rescue + Repair Gel-Cream. For that little bit extra, add a few pumps of the Rescue + Repair Omega Tissue Oil.
Follow with an SPF in the day.
